Fine art photographic print. The beautiful red cliffs of the Navajo Formation, laid down during the Jurassic Period, are lit by the setting sun as it goes under the cloud deck. Underneath the Navajo Formation is the Kayenta Formation seen at the base of these cliffs. It is an older and softer layer also formed during the Jurassic Period.
